What is Ovilo?
A Bible app for iPhone with a focused reader, reading plans, listening, study questions, widgets and reminders. Around it is a small world: every chapter you finish can bring a sheep home to your pasture.
How much does it cost?
Every new account gets 48 hours of full access, once, with no card. After that, one subscription unlocks everything: $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, billed by Apple. Local prices may differ.
Can I buy sheep or seeds?
No. Every sheep is found by reading, and seeds are earned only by reading. Seeds buy cosmetic items. Nothing in the flock is for sale.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing bad. The streak counts days you finish a chapter, never app opens, and forgives missed days. Your flock is never sad and never leaves.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Download a Bible once and read it anywhere. Listening uses on-device voices and also works offline.
Which languages and Bibles are there?
Ovilo is available in many languages, with Bible translations to match. Each translation shows its own licence in the app.
How does Study work?
Ask a question about the chapter you are reading and get an answer that quotes the passage. Only your question and the chapter reference are sent; never your notes.
Are there ads or tracking?
No. There are no ads, no tracking across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Apple manages subscriptions. Cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are requested from Apple.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Your account and its data are permanently deleted. Deleting does not cancel a subscription.
Is Ovilo on iPad or Android?
Ovilo is made for iPhone.
